Global Packaging, Consumer Trends Conference

STRATCOM BRANDING — a founding member of the Global Local Branding Alliance — is hosting the 9th Global Packaging Conference on Consumer Insights and Packaging Trends at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg on March 2, 2018.

Stratcom’s CEO, Gail Macleod, explained that the conference, which was last held in South Africa in 2013, provides an essential platform for discussing emerging trends and new technologies that can help packaging stakeholders identify and leverage opportunities for clear differentiation in an often crowded marketplace.

“Our topic experts, hailing from six countries, focused on packaging innovation and structure for older consumers, the future of connecting through design, regionally relevant packaging, rediscovering big brand rollouts, connecting with heritage and future, and the digital revolution in China,’ Gail stated.

Gail Macleod featured on the Editorial Advisory Board of South African Food Review’s February 2018 issue. Its Packaging Review investigated modern technology in modified atmosphere and vacuum packaging.
